Beautiful locationSt John's Village Memorial Hall is a new, state-of-the-art, contemporary hall completed in April 2014. Located in the heart of St John's village it overlooks the beautiful St John's Lye: a 40 acre stretch of open woodland and parkland. The hall is only 2 miles from Woking town centre, which has excellent access to the railway system, M3, M25 and A3. A cycle/foot path along the canal towpath to the rear of the hall takes you right in to the town centre. Good local bus provision and a free to use village car park situated opposite, makes the Memorial Hall a first choice venue for community and business events. |
Superb and adaptable facilitiesThe hall comprises three light and spacious halls (a large central hall and 2 smaller halls) which can be joined into one large area, hired individually or in any combination to suit your event, hosting a maximum of 200 people. Excellent kitchen facilities are available if needed.
The halls have sprung wooden floors throughout making them ideal for dancing and fitness classes. There is also a meeting room available for hire. The Hall includes specifically designed disabled facilities and has level access throughout. Who manages the hallThe hall is owned and run by the charity St John's Village Memorial Hall Association (Charity number 1139761) whose trustees all give their time voluntarily.
